Applications:
-
Analytical grade (AR grade)::
It is used for oxidation reaction, chemical analysis and reagent preparation in chemical experiments, especially suitable for the reaction of generating chlorate ion in analytical chemistry, such as water quality analysis and environmental monitoring. -
industrial grade::
It is widely used in the manufacture of rocket fuel, oxidizers, glass and ceramics, dyestuffs, rubber, fertilizers and other industries. In addition, it is used as a strong oxidizing agent in the manufacture of pyrotechnic products and fireworks and explosives, as well as in certain industrial cleaning, bleaching and disinfection processes.
Hazardous materials labeling:
-
highly oxidizing::
Sodium perchlorate is highly oxidizing and may cause fire or explosion when in contact with flammable or combustible substances. Store away from combustible materials and avoid contact with organic and reducing substances. -
corrosiveness::
Sodium perchlorate solutions are corrosive to metals, skin and eyes. Direct contact with skin may cause burns and contact with eyes can result in serious injury. Protective equipment such as protective gloves and goggles should be worn when using. -
stimulating::
Sodium perchlorate solution is irritating to the respiratory tract, skin and eyes, and inhalation of its dust may result in respiratory discomfort such as coughing and sore throat.
Storage and security:
-
Storage conditions::
Store in a dry, cool place, out of direct sunlight and away from flammable and combustible substances. Keep sealed to prevent moisture absorption and contamination. It should be stored in a dedicated storage area with clear hazard labeling. -
protection against tides::
Store against moisture and avoid contact with moisture to prevent decomposition reaction or generation of chloric acid gas. Storage containers should be kept sealed to prevent moisture from entering the air. -
safety precautions::
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including protective gloves, goggles, face shield, etc. when in use. Work area should be well ventilated to avoid inhalation of dust and vapors. In case of leakage, isolate and dispose of immediately, using inert substances to adsorb the leaked solids.
